Orphan Care
-By the end of July, OB China will meet its goal of placing infirmaries within 24 orphanages and welfare institutes thanks to the donation of RMB 120,000 from Nokia's marketing department.
-Synutra donated RMB 5,000 to Living Tree Orphanage.
-Nokia donated 8 computers (2 new and 6 second-hand) to Zhaoxian Orphanage in Hebei Province.
-Norwegian Embassy donated 4 boxes of used Lego toys for orphanages.
Clean Water
-Built 151 cisterns at Haiyuan County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, benefiting 755 villagers.
-Celebrated Children's Day with 117 students and 6 school teachers and sent schoolbags to 117 students in Duipo Primary School, Dongxiang County，Gansu Province.
Medical Services
-Hosted one medical clinic in the Liangshan area, Sichuan Province, involving 7 OB volunteer doctors and 3 OB staff. Approximately 2500 villagers, students and low-wage workers were given free medical checkups. Helped local surgeons conduct 5 surgeries. Sent out daily sanitary commodities to 700 students.
-OB medical branch teams hosted five medical clinics in partnership with local partners, 1,873 patients were given free medical checkups and treatment.
